summer vs Winter

Hi all I have been celebrating the early summer by making a knitted Blue tit to keep me company when the babies in my nest box fledge soon.

I have also been knitting the snowman from a vintage, rare pattern found in my local charity shop. This one is for Dawn.

Will's last day

I though I would share this picture of my son on his last day of year 11; I can't believe he is finishing high school already (compulsory education anyway). I am very proud of him.

Honey Bee

Hi all, I thought I would share with you my latest cushion for sale.

It is hand printed on linen ( I am not sure why a pattern has appeared on the photo it does not have one in real life).

This piece is all hand stitched in single cotton on to a detective style Trench coat.

High all; I thought I would share with you my Blue Tit cushion. My feathered visitors were of course the inspiration.

Sorry the picture is a little dark, it was raining as usual.

Blue Tits

High everyone; I thought I would share with you some pictures of the Blue Tits that have been nesting in our nest box. The box has been there for several years but this is the first year any bird has used it. There has been a noticeable increase of activity over the last few days so I think the chicks have arrived.

Knitted Pergola the Forum Norwich

I have just remembered to download pictures of the knitted Pergola which was recently in the Forum in Norwich, during the Easter break. People were asked to send in knitted flowers, birds, leaves etc. The whole project was in aid of John Grooms.

I knitted several roses and leaves which are on there some where.

It truly was a feast for the eyes.

That's me on the second picture down.

Hi All
